Action Description
The "Tapeless Reception Assignment" action allows to update the "person in charge" assigned to receive media files of a particular asset through the Tapeless Reception web service.
Action Parameters
The fields to be compiled when creating the action are detailed below:
Parameters
Name - Insert a short descriptive name for the action (e.g. "tapeless reception assignment by Michael").
Select Person in charge - Select the Person to be assigned to the tapeless reception of the asset. Select <none> to reset the tapeless assignment.
Set scheduled arrival - Specify the arrival date across multiple assets (Yes/No). If "Yes" is selected, the arrival date would be when the T-workflow action is triggered. Alternatively, you can set the scheduled arrival date in asset form, where you can select a future date to receive the video file via Tapeless Reception.
This action has the following outputs:
Done (asset information has been successfully updated)
NB: For the supplier uploading the asset, you can select the supplier from the asset form in the Media Library.
How to use it
Once created to be used, this action must be included in a T-workflow (e.g. for resetting the person-in-charge and date of arrival across multiple assets) under the T-workflow designer and then attached and launched for the desired asset(s).
