72.7.2.1 What is Subtitles Tool

The "Subtitles Tool" is the solution developed by Etere for allowing stations to perform an own in-house subtitling (e.g. subtitled movies, captioned news, etc), providing also automatic speech recognition capabilities to directly dictate subtitles without typing them and thus save both time and money.

The Subtitles Tool allows typing, dictating and also importing subtitles into your Etere system, allowing in all cases to previewing programs create frame-accurate captions while creating frame-accurate captions which will be automatically stored in the database and optionally exported. The Etere's "speech to text" capability is the natural solution for a real-time subtitling, with it, trained operators will easily produce fast high-quality subtitles.
