84.2.4.13 News Ticker

The News Ticker secondary event allows to overlay a news ticker during the playback of the primary event to which it's associated.

Active: Check this parameter to enable the secondary event, leave it unchecked to disable it.
Name: Enter a brief descriptive name.
Icon: Make double-click on the default icon to change it with a more suitable one.
Main device: Specify the logo layer to use to overlay the ticker. The default device is the one set in the STMan Global settings.
Note: In order to be displayed here, devices must be paired to one of the up to twelve Etere Logos and assigned to be used by Etere STMan users, this under the Etere Configuration | Resources module.
Mode: Specify the behaviour of the secondary event, available modes include:
Display news ticker on this event - If enabled, STMan will overlay the news ticker based on the "execute command" and "stop command at" parameters.
Turn on news ticker at the event start - If enabled, STMan will initiate the overlay of the news ticker from the event start until a "turn off" secondary event is executed.
Turn off news ticker at the event end - If enabled, STMan will interrupt the overlay of the news ticker previously initiated by a "turn on" secondary event.
Execute command: Set the time (after the current event start) at which the news ticker overlay will be initiated.
Stop command at: Set the time (before the current event end) at which the news ticker overlay will be interrupted.
Code: Select the crawl (i.e. template) to be used to trigger the news ticker overlay.

Media Library [F7]: Open the Media Library clicking on this button on the secondary event's toolbar. It allows to load the asset related to the primary event for which the secondary event is being defined. If there are unsaved changes, before opening Media Library a message will be prompted, asking to save or not the modifications to the secondary event.
