Assigning a tape to an asset form gives you the possibility to remove that tape afterwards to substitute with a new one. To remove a tape from one or more asset forms follow these instructions:
1-Go to Etere Scheduling | Asset Form | Media | Media List, select media tape support and press the right mouse button;
2-A menu will appear where you should press "Delete Tape";
3-You will be asked to confirm the operation to delete completely both tape and code;
Note: Only the relation between tape and code will be deleted and not the actual tape.
If you want to keep the tape in the DB but delete all 'content' and references to the tape from various asset forms this can be done in Tape Loading:
1-In Tape Loading, select the tape you wish to 'delete';
2-The Tape Loading window will appear with all the data of the tape in question;
3-Click on the 'Delete tape' button at the top of the window;
4-You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
Note: The DB will then recognize the tape as being empty and no asset form will have that particular tape linked to it. The Tape code and statistics will however remain.
