Action Description
The Set asset status action allows to set/change the status of an asset to a specific value (e.g. approved, censored, etc). Please note that this action can be used with an "asset custom log" action to record the asset's operations log status change.
NB: Asset status is a Flexi-metadata used for handling assets. Further details on this property can be found in the Etere Flexi-Metadata chapter.
Action Parameters
Under this section, it is possible to create new actions based on the following parameters:
Name: Give a brief and self-descriptive name to the action (e.g. Set asset as approved, Set asset as censored, Reset asset status).
Set to: Select a specific status for developing the asset form:
- Unknown: The asset doesn't currently have a determined status.
- Valid: The asset is considered valid for transmission.
- Rejected: The asset has been rejected for transmission.
- Censored: The asset has been censored for transmission.
- Approved: The asset has been approved for transmission.
- Erased: The asset has been deleted.
- Transferred: The asset has been moved.
It's worth mentioning that by leaving the status empty, the action will be used to "reset" the asset status to the initial value (i.e. unset).
How to Use it
"Set asset status" actions can be used (in the T-Workflow designer) to, for example, set assets as "censored" subsequently to quality control.
