72.2.2.76 SIAE - ROF Tab

The term ROF stands by 'Record Opera Filmica', it regards all works belonging to the musical assets used in audiovisual works (single tracks present along the work doesn't need to be specified).
The ROF tab permits the operator to either manually or automatically compile the following fields:

ROF (Motion-Picture Work Record)

Code (Codice): This field, not editable, shows the asset identifier within Etere.

Description (Descrizione tipo): The asset type (e.g.: movie, tv season, etc).

Actual transmission duration (Durata di effettiva emissione): Indicates either the scheduled (if not transmitted) or the real (if already transmitted) program length in mmm:ss:ff.

Season title (Titolo season): The title of the composition as denoted in any type of credit.  It reflect the title of the music program rather than the asset title.

Original film or season title (Titolo originale del film o season TV): Original title of film/season.

Original episode title (Titolo originale dell'episodio): Original title of the episode.

Film or season italian title (Titolo italiano del film): Italian title of the work.

Episode italian title (Titolo italiano dell'episodio): Italian title of the episode.

Episode number (N° della puntata): Number of the episode.

Total number of episodes (Numero totale delle puntate): The number of episodes that compound the season.

Producer (Produttore): Full legal name (name and surname) of the producer.

Production year (Anno di produzione): Enter the year on which the work was made.

Nationality - production country (Nazionalità - paese di produzione): Country on which the ROF work has been made.

Director 1,2,3 (Cognome/Nome Regista 1,2,3): Indicate here the full legal name (name and surname) of up to 3 work directors related to the work.
Every time the [Save] button is pressed, the system saves each director's data according to the status of its "all the season" option, that is:
• Disabled (default): The compiled director will be saved only for the current episode.
• Enabled: The compiled director data would be saved for the current episode and all episodes of the same season present in the SIAE Registry. In order to be present into the SIAE Registry, season episodes needs to be opened, compiled and saved one-by-one under the SIAE section, either via web or desktop.
NB: Please note that the "All the season" option is used only for saving data, once saved it is cleared (i.e. unchecked).

ISAN code (Codice ISAN): The ISAN (International Standard Audiovisual Number) is an ISO code that univocally identifies a motion-picture work.

Cue-sheet: Indicate the way the broadcaster manages the cue-sheet (i.e. a document detailing the use of ROM assets within ROF works):
In possession of the SIAE: It means that all the information inherent to the current "motion-picture work" has been fully provided. It will be upon the SIAE to periodically (e.g. monthly, semestrally) integrate further information provided by the broadcaster on regards to the "motion-picture work" .
Further data provided with the ROM below: In this case, the information inherent to the current "motion-picture work" comprises also a related "musical work" (ROM) for which further information will be provided below (i.e. audiovisual work type code, linguistic version, italian version adapter and rpc type).

Transmission Genre (Genere Trasmissione): Enter the numeric code indicating the transmission genre of the asset.

ROM's further data

Nationality - Production country (Nazionalità - paese di produzione): Country on which the ROM asset used in the ROF work has been made.

Audiovisual work type code (Codice tipo opera audiovisiva): It indicates the type of audiovisual work, it can be either a film/short film or 'all the rest' (e.g.: telefilm, season, cartoons, documentaries, etc).

Linguistic version (Versione linguistica): Indicate if the work's language is italian without subtitles, original without subtitles (or with non-italian subtitles) or original with italian subtitles.

Italian version adapter (Adattatore versione italiana): Indicates the person/company who has suited the work for the italian market.

RPC type (Tipo RPC): It stands for 'Record Programmi Cronologici' (Chronological Programs Record), and specifies further details regarding the musical transmission, entertainment, culture, news, sports, movies, commercials, etc.
