84.2.5 Approve Schedule Changes

The Changes Approval module is the tool that, based on a "delta analysis", provides operators with a detailed view of all differences between events in the "real schedule" (i.e. the one to be transmitted) and the "changes schedule" (i.e. the one holding all events coming from Import/Export, F90 and Air Sales).
Events included in the "delta analysis" are identified through a "reconciliation key" defined by the operator (i.e. either an external code, an external identification number or a combination between the event's asset code and its schedule date and time).
As illustrated in the figure below, the cross-check provided by "Changes Approval" through a user-friendly interface allows to easily and quickly decide which events must be inserted/deleted/updated on the main schedule:

For example, the usefulness of this module is proven in cases in which the station's programming department daily receives a commercial schedule from an external agency, "Changes Approval" will permit the programming operator to identify and select the events which should be inserted, deleted or updated into the main schedule.
