The 'Modify Proposal' action allows to open proposals in read-writing mode and modify its lines either individually or collectively. Please note that in order to modify a scheduled proposal it must not be scheduled in past days and the account executive must have with the change proposal scheduled permission.
A proposal line can be managed under the LINES tab by right-click and using any of the following functions:
Function - New
Description : Creates a new proposal line, allowing to compile all the data indicated in the previous Managing lines chapter.
Function - Duplicate
Description : Right-click on an existing proposal and select Duplicate line option, a new proposal line will be created replicating all the data of the selected line. The new line will be ready to be compiled as explained in the previous Managing lines chapter.
Function - Delete
Description : This sensitive function will remove the selected proposal line PERMANENTLY, all its related booking operations will also be removed.
Function - Change data
Description : Load the selected proposal line in read/write mode to allow modify its general data, linked assets and booking options. Modifiable fields depends on how they are changed:
Type - Change data
Changes : - When one or more lines are selected, and the "change data" function is enabled, all fields are available for modification.
- If the changed line doesn't derive from a model 1 / 2 line, changes will be applied only to the line. Instead, if it derives from a model 1 / 2 line changes will be applied depending on modified fields:

Only the changed line will be modified without altering its source model1/2 line.

The changed line will be removed from its source model 1/2 line (i.e. the changed day will be removed), a new model1/2 line will be created exclusively for the changed line.
Note: Removing scheduled lines from locked schedules (from Strategic Editor) is allowed only if the parameter "Prevent scheduling changes on manually locked daily schedules" is disabled. Otherwise, it will be allowed to delete events only from period without locked days (i.e. all line's days must be unlocked).
Type - Normal change
Changes : Instead, when one or more lines are selected and are edited without using the "change data" function, the following fields are available:

In this case, changes will be applied only to the changed line.
Note: If a proposal line is changed, all its currently booked items will be lost. Changed lines won't be available for scheduling (e.g. from Air Sales Scheduler) until they are approved using the function below.
Function - Approve changed line's data
Description : Use this function to indicate that the selected proposal(s) can be made available for rescheduling:
•Selected row: Only changes performed to the current selected proposal line will be approved.
•All changed rows: All changes performed to the entire proposal will be approved.
Please note that once a proposal line is approved, it will be immediately available for scheduled.
Function - View event log
Description : Display a small window detailing all the operations performed for the asset(s) linked to the selected proposal line.

Function - Modify booking
Description : Launches a module that will allow the account executive/supervisor to either view the proposal line's booking or modify it manually.
Please refer to the Show scheduling chapter for detailed information on how to use this module.
Function - View scheduling report
Description : Display a simple list containing all the scheduling operation performed for the proposal line.
Please refer to the Scheduling report chapter for detailed information on the data displayed in this report.
NB: The delete and approve functions are supported for multi-selected lines, multiple lines can be selected by holding either the [SHIFT] button (for contiguous lines) or the [CONTROL] button (for non-contiguous lines) during the selection.
NB: Running proposals can be sent either to the supervisor or customer to receive an approval, by clicking on the [send to evaluate] button and selecting the proper action (please refer to the previous Managing lines chapter for detailed information).
NB: When closing a proposal after a modification, a warning is displayed if there are unapproved lines.
Model 1/2 lines
In case the order has model 1 or model 2 lines, the List of lines allows to modify proposal lines by right-click and selecting one of the following options:
ADD (CTRL+N) - Inserts a new line featuring the same information as the last inserted one.
NB: Please note that depending on whether the "copy previous days value in new line" parameter is enabled or disabled, the number of runs per day of the last inserter line will be automatically repeated.
REMOVE (CTRL+D) - Deletes the selected line from the proposal.
