Etere MAM stands for Media Asset Management. It is a modular and flexible software solution that can index the information relative to the asset in all possible ways. It can also manage a large amount of assets (e.g. tapes, video files or other formats usually described with a lot of metadata).

MAM compliant with FFV1 format
In June 2018, Etere announced the compatibility with FFV1 (FF Video Codec 1) format. FFV1 is a lossless featuring compression ratios that are comparable to JPEG 2000 lossless, its lower computing requirements making it suitable for archiving. FFV1 includes ffdshow and LAV filters, it is available for Microsoft Windows applications that support system-wide codecs over Video for Windows (VfW) or DirectShow.
