59.2.43.13 Creating Flexi-metadata profiles

Flexi-metadata profiles (i.e. a predefined set of metadata elements) can be created using existing items and custom items. To define a profile, follow the procedures described below:
1. Flexi-metadata profiles can be created under the "Settings" panel; you can also create new profiles by right-clicking one of the asset groups on the "Settings" list and selecting the "Add" option:

2. A small form display, assign a name to the profile and press the <Ok> to create the profile.
3. Once the profile is created, navigate through the "Metadata Dictionary Tree" (located at the right panel of the window) and select the group/items to be included in the new profile.
NB:  Please note that Flexi-metadata profiles can be linked to specific asset properties (e.g. code, title, etc.) and types (e.g. commercials, news, seasons, etc.).
