201.15 Music Format

Etere Music Format is the complete solution for scheduling music programs, it perfectly integrates with other Etere modules (i.e. Automation, Air Sales, etc) making any additional scheduling simple and quick in the Etere environment. Etere Music Format is incredibly useful for TV stations that handle multiple music tracks as part of their daily scheduling by implementing the advanced 'music formats', which allows the user to specify which type of music to be played in any given segment, in both automatic and user-defined scheduling.

In case the station came with a valid 'Etere Music Manager' license, the creation of 'music formats' enables you to define a set of criteria that will determinate which music tracks can be scheduled in a particular segment. The first step is to create the music formats (i.e. rules or definitions) establishing their characteristics, the second step is to assign these music formats to a segment either manually or automatically. The music played in that segment is then dictated by the parameters set in 'Music Format'.
