59.2.43.22 Default Flexi-metadata Configuration

If you are setting up a new database environment, and there is no SMPTE database configured in the system, the Flexi-metadata setting looks similar to the figure shown below:

From Etere released version 27.5 and higher, you can create default configuration settings for Flexi-metadata simply by executing system maintenance tasks.  Upon completion, two default Flexi-metadata configurations, "Asset Metadata" and "File Info", would be added to the settings that include all commonly required fields acquired by Flexi-metadata.

In the default configuration settings "Asset metadata", all required fields pertaining to asset metadata are included in the settings. Fields defined in the default configuration have:
