201.13.2.2 Mandatory Metadata

The "Mandatory SMPTE Metadata Fields" form allows defining the metadata (e.g. TitleFull, SummaryShort, ShowType, etc) that must be compulsory filled to deliver an asset of a certain type (e.g. TV season) over a certain platform.

1. Select the template platform (e.g. VOD America) and specify the content type (e.g. TV season).

2. Press the [Search] button to retrieve all metadata fields enabled for the selected type.

3. Mark all metadata intended to be mandatory and press the [Save] button

4.To continue defining mandatory metadata for other platforms/types press the [New] button

Mandatory metadata is checked every time an Delivery workflow is launched, avoiding its execution if metadata is missing on at least one asset.
