201.3.4.4 Main data compilation

In the Main Data tab you must provide all the generic order's information (e.g. dates, type, duration, runs number, etc) that will define the season scheduling limits, required fields include:

•Description: Insert the description of the Rights in question.

•Type: Select whether the order refers to a single episode or to an entire/partial season.

•Episodes: Indicate then number of episodes that will be linked to this order.

•Total Runs: This field contains the total number of runs automatically calculated according to the number of episodes. If the value is manually modified and  different from the automatically calculated value, a message will be prompt to notify the operator.

•Total: The total is calculated automatically taking the Episodes value. If the value is manually modified and different from the automatically calculated value, a message will be prompt to notify the operator.

•Value Template: Optionally assign to the season a preset amortization template to allow up to 4 percentage levels based on the run number (e.g. 1st-run=50%, 2nd-run=30%, 3rd-run=15%, 4th-run=5%).

•Episode Rate: It's the unit price of each episode, it's automatically calculated dividing the total amount by the number of episodes (i.e. episodes rate = total / episodes). Please note that this field is displayed only if the type field is set to 'Single Episode'.

•Type of Event: Select the type of the event in question (e.g. TV season).

•Station: Select the station on which this order will take effect.

•Duration: Insert the duration of an episode.

•Start Date - End Date: Define the start and end date of the order.

•Daily runs: Insert the number of times that an episode can be transmitted in the same day, this information is necessary for automatic scheduling. Please note that this field is displayed only if the type field is set to 'Single Episode'.

•[Create Season Assets Automatically]: This function allows to automatically create assets for every episode that makes up the season. This is not necessary if you are defining a order for existing season. For instance, if the description of the season is 'Friends season' and the number of episodes is 15, by pressing this automatic generation button the 15 asset forms will be automatically created (from 'Friend season-01'until 'Friend season-15').
