Resources are managed through worksheets, which are processed via T-workflow through the following four simple steps:
1 - CREATE A WORKSHEET (link to detailed chapter)
In order to start using worksheets, they need to be implemented by either creating one from a template or modifying an existing one. When creating worksheets, it will be possible to set their name, costs, invoicing, results and "assign" property, which allows assigning the worksheet as described below:
•to be assigned: the worksheet will require to be assigned by a supervisor.
•auto-assign: the worksheet will be automatically assigned to an operator either directly or based on its role.
•not to be assigned: the worksheet will be available for all operators.
Once created, worksheets needs to be included in a T-workflow (from the T-workflow Designer) and subsequently attached and started (from the Media Library) for the assets for which the worksheet is intended to be executed.
2 - ASSIGN A RUNNING WORKSHEET (link to detailed chapter)
Once launched, worksheet becomes available when the T-workflow waits for them to be completed. Depending on the "assign" property of the worksheet one of the following actions will be allowed:
a. Worksheets set as "to be assigned" needs to be manually assigned using the Resources Manager or the Media Library.
b. Worksheets set as "auto-assign" are automatically assigned to an assignee/group/role..
c. Worksheets not set as "to be assigned" will be immediately available under the Resources Manager and the Media Library.
3 - COMPLETE AN ASSIGNED WORKSHEET (link to detailed chapter)
Once assigned, worksheets can be undertaken and compiled from either their assignee's Agenda View or the Media Library, there it will be possible to enter a cost, notes and a result for the worksheet.
4 - GENERATE REPORTS AND INVOICES (link to detailed chapter)
Once completed, all the costs derived from the worksheet are invoiced to allow individually billing the worksheet related process (e.g. subtitling, tape copying, trailer creation, etc). Moreover, it will be possible to track their completion through a series of reports.
