Etere NCRS OCX is the ActiveX browser that permits searching and previewing content between a newsroom system and Etere. Etere NCRS OCX permits, for example, to preview from the News interface the proxy video of an asset stored in the database.
Etere NCRS OCX provides the following features for media management:
•Asset data management: Search, view, and modify assets stored in Etere's database,
•Index asset's media: Define logical segments for the assets' linked low-res media,
•Direct media insertion: Preview assets' segments and insert them into the Newsroom playlist.
