General
The General tab allows to configure some generic parameters mainly related to specific calculations:
Calculate budget by single station - If enabled, budgets will be specific for the current station instead of commonly used for all stations (by default).
Interface models - Indicate the interface(s) to be used by account executive to manage proposals:
standard - If enabled, account executive will be provided with the standard model for inserting proposal lines.
standard and model 1 - If enabled, account executive will be allowed to use -besides the standard model-also the lines model 1 for a quick insertion of weekly proposals.
standard and model 2 - If enabled, account executive will be allowed to use -besides the standard model-also the lines model 2 for a quick insertion of monthly proposals.
Copy previous days value in new line - If enabled, every time a new line is added for a model 1/2 proposal the new line's values (daily and total run numbers) will be automatically retrieved from the last inserted line, thus allowing a quick insertion. If disabled, new lines will be created without value.
Proposal
At the Proposal tab, the supervisor is able to set some proposals parameters regarding their validity, approval and presentation:
Calculate unit price from total - Enable this option to calculate the unit price from the total amount instead of calculating it for each proposal line (default).
Disable user to change the expiry date - If checked, account executive won't be allowws to modify the default expiry date of proposals, the proposal will expire after 'x' (i.e.: default value set below) days after the proposal creation date.
Enable auto-approve proposal - Enable this option if proposals will be automatically approved (i.e. without passing the approval workflow) once sent by the account executive. The criteria on which the auto-approve proposal is based can be set in the Approval criteria tab.
It's worth mentioning that this option is enabled for customers across all stations.
NB: Please note that auto-approval can be enabled besides for all customers, only for specific customers under "Personal Data > Other Data > Automatic proposal approval".
Enable auto-calc 'max daily run' - Enable this option to automatically calculate the 'maximum daily runs' of a proposal line, this value will be calculated dividing the 'total to schedule' by the 'number of days of the scheduling period'.
Enable adding blocks without price lists - If enabled, it will be possible to associate to proposal lines also blocks which are not currently associated to any price list.
Allow inserting null durations - If enabled, it allows to create proposal lines without a specific duration, duration equal to zero.
Round up calc. price list - Enable this option for calculating price list when the amount containing decimal point, the calculated amount would be round up to integer value. If disabled, the price list amount would be calculated based on 2 decimal points.
Property used to identify commercial events - Indicate the property that events must have in order to be recognized as commercial events. This parameters is used, for example, during the association of price lists to 'commercial' blocks (see Associate Price Lists).
Default proposal expiry days number - Set the default value for the proposals maximum validity (days).
Default reserved space expiry days number - Set the maximum number of days that unconfirmed events will remain reserved (i.e. temporarily scheduled) before being either confirmed or automatically canceled.
Enable the automatic update of the block list when the time range changes - If enabled, the blocks assigned for scheduling a certain proposal line will be automatically updated (i.e. removed and added) each time the proposal line's time range is modified.
Enable check unique proposal description - If enabled, descriptions will be unique for each proposal. A warning will be displayed every time a user attempts to save a proposal having an existing description.
Default new line duration - Specify the duration to be set by default each time a new detail is added to proposals.
Default Scheduling type - Indicate the scheduling type to be enabled by default when creating proposals (e.g. priority, optimization, rotation or fixed time). However, this value can be changed during the proposal creation/modification.
Logo Image - Make right-click to select the custom logo to be displayed on the header of proposals. The selected logo image does not need to be modify, it would be automatically resized appropriately to fix into the box.
Terms and conditions - Enter the terms and conditions to be attached to all the proposals in their footer.
