Resource Configuration

59.6.2.186 Netwiring - TVInserter 1088 resource editor

The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:
Code: the path of the resource you are editing is displayed
Type: shows the type of resource
Number: indicates the ordinal number which identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.

The user must enter the following information:
Name: description of the resource you are editing.
Driver: fixed for the type of machine, TVINS
IP Address: insert the machine's IP address and its local port, which is 10104 by default
Configuration:
✓ The logo generator is configured to indicate how the logo must be configured.
✓Indicate the associated DSK: Indicate if the DSK is inner (INSIDE) or must be associated with one already configured resource.
(Attention: only the active DSK are displayed, and therefore, it is necessary to configure the DSK previously)

Preset/Take Mode: Some devices can pre-load the logo before sending it ON AIR in such a way as to speed up the operation at the moment of the take. This possibility can be exploited by using the device in a preset/take mode instead of the standard mode. Preset/take mode is suggested if a commutation for each event is in use. Otherwise, the results could be unpredictable.

Attention: The TVInserter mod.1088 doesn't have a serial command but rather an Ethernet one; therefore, it doesn't need the serial wire.

Manages the following effects:
- Off: cleans the video
- Fixed: sends ON AIR a line of treatment without assigning values to eventual dynamic fields of the line.
- Variable: sends ON AIR a line of treatment assigning values to dynamic fields of the line. To do this, the text to be marked as a variable effect must be a string with the following syntax:
text1[|text2...]
this way the text1 will be assigned to the 1° variable filed, text2 to the 2° , and so on.
