93.1 How to install MMS

To start using Etere Media Manager Service, you need to install it using Etere Update Module.

Once the feature is selected, you can assign the user which the Service will use as Log On account. You can rely on the Windows Local System account or insert a Windows Domain User, with the condition to have the proper rights to run the given Service and R/W permissions for the paths where it is going to operate (e.g.: an administrator account). 
The user selection can be done before installation, from Etere Update module clicking on the "Set log on" label, or after the installation from Windows Services application.

If no user account is assigned in Etere Update, the default Local System account will be used.

Only one instance of Media Manager Service per Server/Workstation is allowed.
