5.1 Ingest list

In the Ingest list section, you can view the assets scheduled within a specific number of days and determine which assets need to be ingested.

The Ingest List contains not ingested items in the playlist and alternative schedule. Assets with no metafile attached or live events would not be listed.

In the Ingest List, the following parameters are required:

Template - Select one of the templates configured in Configuration > Settings > Web Configuration > Web Ingest List to search for all assets scheduled but has yet to ingest. All purchases matching the template would be displayed with a countdown timer next to the closest on-air event.

A default template will be loaded for all assets if no template is defined in the Web Ingest List.

Search in following days - Specify the number of days (past and future) to be searched.

WARNING: An additional option, "Show also assets not in the schedule", would be available for specific customers. If enabled, the assets produced by the MAM module would be displayed; it includes assets created in the past 30 days, including the current day.

Next, click the <Show> button to filter the asset ready for ingest.

The following window would be opened. It shows the name of the selected template, the current date and time and a countdown which tells the user how much time is left until the time of the next not-yet-ingested on-air event.

Note: The search function does not filter assets ingested on specific dates.   You must use the Ingest Date filter in Media Library to retrieve the assets.

The table below lists all the assets scheduled to be on-air within the template's specified time ranges. They are displayed with different colour codes configured in the template.

In the example above, the time ranges are configured in this way:
Yellow - 00:10:00.00 (all assets which would go on-air within 10 minutes are displayed in yellow)

Green - 00:15:00.00 (all assets which would go on-air between 10 to 15 minutes from the current time are displayed in green)

Blue - 00:30:00.00 (all assets which would go on-air between 15 to 30 minutes from the present time are shown in blue)

WARNING: The colour settings for ingest list are defined in Web Ingest List in the Configuration module.

If the information on the top panel is invisible, e.g. after a version upgrade, you can change the colour scheme (e.g. BLUE 2020) to improve visibility.
