Strategic Editor is the module that allows operator to perform schedule adjustments in real-time, applying changes to the commercial schedule automatically. The Strategic Editor module provides a high flexibility to the scheduling process, based on a schedule grid structure, it integrates schedules with the assets' database, ensuring a rock-solid scheduling module where only valid events can be scheduled. Moreover, this module features various facilities such as multiple colour displays, intuitive events selection, automatic rights verification, etc.
The schedule grid on which the Strategic Editor playlist is based is the one built using the Weekly Schedule module, this schedule grid is formed by program blocks which are formed by program segments defined by specific properties (i.e. time range, duration, program type, price list, etc).
Note:
Before start using Strategic Editor some parameters need to be set under "Etere Configuration > Settings > Air Sales > Scheduling Rules" for basic behaviours and "Etere Configuration > Settings > Basic > System" for correct main and local times.
