Air Sales Scheduler Interface

202.5.2.3 Main Menu

The functions that provides quick access to the most common features of Air Sales Scheduler are present in the main menu, these functions include:

FILE
The File menu contains functions related to the execution of scheduling operations, these functions are the same displayed in the toolbar menu:

•Start (MANUAL MODE):  Use it to schedule ONLY the selected order lines; this by requesting to the Air Sales Booking Server to schedule all selected order lines automatically.

•Start all available scheduling operations (AUTOMATIC MODE): Use it to schedule (through the Air Sales Booking Server) all order lines matching the selected filters automatically. Once launched, this function will continuously check for new order lines to be scheduled.
Please note that the 'automatic mode' can be stopped at any time by executing it again.

•Air Sales Booking Server: manual start:
Use it to launch the Air Sales Booking Server manually in case it is not running.

•Stop automatic scheduling: Interrupts the automatic scheduling process.

NB: This operation may take some time depending on the number of currently processing records.

TOOLS
The Tools menu provides operators with functions that will help to overcome possible errors encountered during the scheduling process:

•Delete unfinished batches: Use it to release all the scheduling operations which are currently 'in examination', 'suspended' or 'failed'. This function is useful to make all order lines which scheduling status is static (e.g. due to a system crash, a connection loss, an unexpected error, etc) ready to be re-scheduled or modified.

•Reset the status of non-running operations: This function will release all order lines currently locked for scheduling to be re-scheduled.
In case you want to reset the status of currently in progress scheduling operations, right-click on the related order line(s) and use the 'Reset scheduling (F7)' function available from the right-click contextual menu.

•Test send SNMP error message:
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a network protocol used to manage and monitor devices installed in TCP/IP network and provide status information.  This function simulate a device error and trigger a SNMP message to be sent to notify users.
