59.5.16.1 Assets by Genre

Report Description

This report allows the printing of a report of assets sorted by genre. If the "Number for genre" option is checked, the report generated will include the list of genres available in Etere and the number of assets associated.

Report Filters

All the parameters that permits a detailed generation of the report have been spread across seven different tabs to allows an easier configuration. By default, all filters are disabled (i.e.: they are either blank or unselected), to enable them it is enough to configure at least one parameters on their inside. Available filters includes:

•Number by genre:  If enabled, a summarizing report will be generated, it will contain only the number of assets belonging to each genre,

•List by genre: If enabled, the report generated will contain the list of genres available in Etere and of the associated assets. This option allows specifying whether the report must include all genres or only the ones selected.

The 'page break' option can be enabled to start each genre report on a new page.

The 'sort by' option allows to specify how artists, assets and production dates should be sorted.

•Production date: Specify the range on which considered assets must be produced,

•On-Air date: Specify the date interval on which assets must have been transmitted in order to be taken into consideration for the report.

Report Preview

The [Settings] permits to configure the page layout of the outgoing document; once filters and settings have been set it will be possible to select between displaying a preview using the related [Preview] button or printing the document directly using the [Report] button. Please note that some reports permit to export the generated document in the most common formats (pdf, csv, doc, xls, xml, etc) just by using the [Export] button.
