Import Scope
Import virtual documents based on ID, Asset Code, or Flexi Metadata.
Import Parameters
This import module requires the following parameters to be set in order to be carry out the import:
Filename - File name must meet the following criteria:
- Import by ID: Filename must begin with ID, followed by (-), and end with generic characters.
e.g. 1234-ABC5678.PDF where “1234” is the ID search field for import
- Import by Asset Code: Filename must begin with asset code, followed by (-), and end with generic characters
e.g. ABCD-EDF0000.PDF where “ABCD” is asset code and a search field for import
- Import by Flexi Metadata: Filename must begin with the value of fleximetadata indicated in the parameter, followed by (-), and end with generic characters.
e.g. LBCZZAB55-ABC0000.PDF, where asset to search for import would be the flexi metadata indicated in parameter with value “LBCZZAB55”
Note: Multiple files meet the criteria would be imported. Files will be deleted upon successful import. If the import failed, files would be remains in path. Use the "Errors" tab to view the error log.
File's IMPORT Path (leave it blank to not export it) - To be filled only if you intend to import a file located on a PC in your network.
Station Identification - Insert a custom string composed by five characters, to be added at the beginning of the exported filename.
Scheduling related import
This export doesn't require any configuration under the Etere Scheduling module.
