HOW TO SEARCH AN ARTIST FROM ETEREWEB

To search for an artist from the web, a Full-Text Search feature is provided to perform a Google-like search that retrieves artists based on the artist's whole name, surname, stage name, or part of the name. Once the search is launched, the artists who matched the search criteria will be displayed under the Artist Manager panel. Here, it's possible to open and edit the artist's details page by clicking on the name, surname or stage name.

ArtistManagerList

In the search results table, there is the possibility to make these operations:

  1. Sort the results: Clicking on a column, the results will be sorted according to the column's data (ID, name, birth date, Country, etc.) and clicking again, the user can switch between ascending and descending order. The icon at the top-right corner of the column shows the order in which the results are sorted.

    SortByIDAsc
    SortByNameDesc
    SortBySurnameAsc

  2. Add or remove columns: Show more or less details about the searched artist by clicking the column settings button and simply dragging and dropping the columns in the open form. This can also help to find the desired artist or artists in case of multiple results.

    AddOrRemoveColumns

Important information: To enable further columns, in addition to the Default ones, it is necessary to create a customised Layout for each Etere workgroup and apply the necessary rights, but for this topic, you can find more information in chapter 62.2.49.3 Web Artist of our online Help.
