The toolbar provides the following functions for the configuration of directories and report generation.
- Upgrade version: Updates the release list from the source dir; the source directory contains all updated files for the release.
- Refresh: Updates the information displayed on various tabs (e.g. Etere PCs, Features, etc.).
- Parameters: Set the parameters for the current computer.
Source dir: The path from which the Etere setup would be launched in the current computer and the directory where all updated files will be retrieved.
NB: This path is called EtereNetwork in the folder structure chapter.
Install dir: The directory where the Etere module was installed in the current computer.
NB: This path is referred to as Etere in the folder structure chapter.
PC list: Display all PCs or only PC which an update is required.
PC files: Display all files or only those that must be updated.
Icons: Display small or big icons in the list (e.g. features by PC).
NB: The source dir and install dir are "read-only"; parameters may change from computer to computer as they are set during the installation; they are stored locally in the Windows registry.
- Features list: Generates a report containing all features available for the Etere system, detailing the computers where the features were installed.
- PC list: Generates a report containing all PC in the Etere system and lists all the features installed on each PC.
- Save versions history file: Create a file named Version_[PCName]. TXT; this file contains the versions of all files present in the Etere installation of the selected PC.
Note: Only files with a specific extension are included (i.e. exe, dll, rpt, pcf, chm, ocx, dal).
