• Key Frame •
Marker placed on the Edit Decision List to indicate a specific timecode within the media. Etere allows to insert keyframes into an asset’s EDL to define precise points at which the media can be segmented or divided
• Key Station •
Primary station from which a program in a network broadcast originates. Etere allows to assign programs to a key station and subsequently distribute them to other split networks. A key station is also referred to as a Central Station or Master Station
• Keying •
Process of mixing a video signal with another one, called key signal; the key is used to overlay graphics, both still and animated, onto a program feed. Etere allows to perform the keying by driving video mixers/switchers and routers
