59.3.1 What is Etere T-Workflow

Etere T-Workflow is an essential part of the broadcasting process not only because it allows setting broadcasting management rules but principally because it expresses how modules interact to perform the broadcasting process, making it easy for the operator the understand how the system works and, therefore, it establishes a simple and reliable way to create or modify distinct broadcasting procedures, this approach gives the Station the possibility of a fully personalised developing manner taking broadcasting management onto a whole new level.
Etere T-Workflow gives full control to the station, allowing them to customise their system to make it match their requirements 100%, including new operations insertions, operations sequence modifying, etc.

As shown in the diagram above, Etere T-Workflow facilitates systems management by allowing the operator to clearly define and visualise each complex step of the broadcasting process under a T-workflow-based approach. Once these steps have been described, Etere T-Workflow becomes an integrated requisite for the system's overall functioning.
Etere modules will interact with Etere T-Workflow to seek confirmation of whether they are permitted to do. If all previous steps in the T-workflow have not been undergone as defined by the operator, the software will not allow the system to move forward.
Multiple T-workflows can run simultaneously, working independently of each other but in line with the respective process, they relate to. By defining this integrated set of rules, the Etere T-Workflow framework will ensure a more efficient and controlled systems management and a clearer, documented view of all the intricate phases in the broadcasting process from ingest through to playout.
