Quality check ensure quality control for media content and its integrity, it provide flexibility, intuitive and allowed customized configuration of QC projects for video and audio content, offering users with availability to receive warning messages based on the severity of events in the configuration, and apply appropriate action to minimize the impact.

Basically, a QC feature must have the value-added characteristics similar to the following:

- able to analysis live sources (SDI, ASI)
- support operations by multiple simultaneous users
- scalable and adaptable to dynamic work flows

- multi-level reporting environment, allows customization of report to suit requirement
- flexibility in configuration and analyzing results
- allows automation

License
Provide information regarding the number of nodes and points supported to carry out the QC tasks. The license must be extendable to cater for more nodes and point if needed.
Creation of User Profile and Repositories
User Profile is a user-defined template, consist of a list of predefined elements to carry out quality check for metadate. The QC elements in the profile includes video bit rate, audio bit rate, duration, data format, codecs to use, etc.
Repository is a path or root directory where the files to be checked / analyzed are stored. The repositories may be located on the local machine or in previously mapped network folders.
