As its name suggest, this option is used to delete either scheduled events or asset forms:
•Schedule list
In this tab is possible to delete scheduled events on one or more days, you can also enable the deletion of some user-defined asset forms broadcasted within the indicated period:
1.In Delete Schedules select the date range of scheduled events to delete,
2.In Stations select the stations where to perform the scheduled event's deletion,
3.By checking the Delete assets scheduled within the given period, the asset forms of the scheduled events will be deleted as well,
4.Click on Start Search to start the search of the events to delete,
5.Once you have the list of events to delete, double click on the ones to delete (they will be marked with a red X). Right click to access the options select all or unselect all if required,
6.Click on Delete to delete the selected events.
In event if the schedules for specific date are deleted unintentionally, you can recover the schedule by:
1.Re-open the date where the schedule is deleted.
2.Import playlist to opened date.
3.Publish the playlist into schedule.
•Assets
In this tab it's possible to delete asset form (s) stored in the Etere's database:
1.It is possible to delete Assets searching them by Code, Description and Type,
2.Checking the Non-ingested assets only option, only the asset form without digital media will be searched,
3.Checking the Expired assets only option, only the asset expired asset form will be searched,
4.Click on Start Search to start the search of the events to delete,
5.Once you have the list of events to delete, double click on the ones to delete (they will be marked with a red X). Right click to access the options select all or unselect all if required.
7.Click on Delete to delete the selected events
NB: If you don't want to physically delete an asset, but just remove it from the database you should consult the chapter Making expire an asset form.
Recommendation:
Upon assets deletions, whether by housekeeping workflow or manual deletion, you can trigger “Notify Asset Changed” workflow to refresh the playlists status in Executive Editor, playlists without the presence of linked assets would be indicated with a red/black triangle icon in Executive Editor to notify user.
