The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:
•Code: the path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: shows the resource type
•Number: indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.
The user must enter the following information:
•Name: description of the resource you are editing.
•Driver: fixed for the machine type: THGVMAESTRO.
•Parameters (indicate values in Hex)
Poll address: indicate by hex values separated by spaces (example. 82 81)
Select address: indicate by hex values separated by spaces (example. 82 80)
•Transaction speed: (Slow, Medium, Fast, Input time of three transaction speeds in msec.)
•Number of channels: specify how many input channels there are; the output channel is one. This information is used to edit the channels in the Main
•FastTake: Set means that after the take command, the status showing that the switching has happened is not checked. Therefore, the take only lasts the duration of a single order being sent to the master control.
NOTICE: When creating this resource, 8 DSK resources connected to the MC maestro will also be automatically created to be configured correctly.

After indicating which user and which software the resource has to be installed for, you have to set other data:
Com port setting:
The VTR can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC that EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port which EtereSarvaji uses.
Com configuration:
You can set the Baudrate only (default value 38400); the other data are fixed.
422:
Device (out) - Indicate the no. of the device to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)
Controller (in) - Indicate the no. of the controller to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)
(Only in the special case where you have a centralized video router which allows you also to commute serial ports, set the data referred to above to 422)
