The Settings section allows to define various settings for managing broadcasting and licensing rights in the workstation.
You can define the following settings for BMS:
• Link Areas: Define the link areas available for the current station.
• Media: Define the available media to be used.
• Platforms Template: Define the available media platforms.
• Template Areas: It allows the creation of new templates.
• Territories: Create territories and define diffusion of rights.
• Territory Groups: It allows dividing various territories into groups or groups.
GENERAL SETTINGS
In General settings section, parameters about the generic functioning of the BMS module are available:
• Rights assignment cross stations: If enabled, allows to calculate rights when a material is scheduled across multiple stations. For example, if an asset code is scheduled 2 times, one in STATION-A and one in STATION-B, and the reruns condition is verified, the first occurrence will be counted as RUN and the second will be counted as RERUN, even if they are scheduled in 2 different stations.
If disabled, the rights calculation does not change. So, in the example above, both occurrences will be counted as RUN.
• Recalculate rights after automatic scheduler: This option activates the automatic recalculation after each programming made with BMS Schedulers (Programs\Season scheduler). It's suggested to enable this option in case of cross-station schedulings.
