Export Scope
The SUBTITLE export allows exporting asset subtitles in either EBU Subtitling (STL) or PAC Screen System (PAC) format, allowing to choose the language to be exported as well as the possibility of using or not timecode offsets.
Export parameters
This export allows the following parameters to be set and then [saved]:
Export_standard_subtitle
Export
Subtitles file to create - Enter the full path (path and filename) for the subtitle to be exported.
NB: Depending on the format to be exported, the extension of the file must be either STL or PAC.
Subtitles format - Select the format in which to export subtitles, available formats include:
EBU - Export subtitles in EBU Subtitling format, with STL file extension.
PAC - Export subtitles in PAC Screen Systems format, with PAC file extension.
NB: For information on subtitles formats refer to the chapter "Supported formats for import/export".
Export subtitles from asset: - Search and select the asset from which subtitles will taken in order to be exported
Subtitles language - Select the subtitle language to be exported. It will be displayed only subtitles languages (enabled in "Etere Con figuration > Settings > Basic > Language") which are available for the selected asset.
Video standard - Select one of the video standard from the drop down list:
- PAL
- NTSC Drop Frame
- NTSC Non Drop Frame
Add offset - If enabled, subtitles will be exported with their original timecode offset. If disabled, subtitles will be exported with a zero based timecode.
Errors
Here will be displayed eventually messages regarding eventually encountered issues
Launch the export
Once all parameters have been correctly set, just press the <Export> button to launch the export operation.
