Moreover, assets can also be created using other methods such as deriving them from an existing asset, or importing them from another systems, just as explained below:
• Duplicates
The 'Create a new record with the same data' button allows to duplicate the current asset, you will be prompted to select the code of the new asset form;
• Backups
The 'Create backup' button allows to create a backup asset form of the current one, the new code will be an extension of the original asset code (e.g. 'code' -> 'code-001');
• Import
The Etere Scheduling or Etere F90 modules allows importing assets through a wide range of formats.
WARNING: When importing a new asset data sheet, the asset type would be based on the first instance found in the import process. For subsequent instances, the asset type in the asset data sheet would not be changed. The modification of the asset type in the asset data is possible from the personal data flow.
