85.2.8.2 How to use it

Once this feature is enabled, Etere STMan will be able to receive immediate commands from clients. for example, from the Multichannel View and the Executive Editor it' is possible to use the "Run secondary event immediately" to send a secondary event (e.g. logo, crawl, passthru, etc) to Etere STMan indicating that it must be executed immediately:

Note: This feature is compliant with the EAS (Emergency Alert System) regulation for broadcasting important information during state of emergency.  EAS is a public warning system that requires broadcasters, cable television systems, wireless cable systems, satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) providers and direct broadcast satellite (DBS) providers to provide communication capability to the authorities to deliver important information to the public during a national emergency.
