You can use the following steps to convert an EXF tape to be written in AXF tape format:
1. Migrate the content in EXF tape to another tape using “Data Migration from tape”.
2. After migration, in HSM Headquarters > Media, right-click on the EXF tape and select function “Free” to remove all data from the tape.
3. Upon completion, the EXF tape format would be displayed as “blank” in the “Format” column.
4. When you start writing data to this tape the written format would be reflected as “AXF” format.
