202.3.2.1 Recycle Bin

The Recycle Bin holds all the blocks (and their contained events) which have been removed from the scheduling structure, allowing operators to view and restore them into specific dates and times. The Recycle Bin is useful, for example, to re-insert blocks which have been previously removed (e.g. because postponed to another date).
The functions provided by the Recycle Bin for the management of removed blocks are explained in the following lines:

Search filters - Station
Description : Specify the station from which the blocks have been removed.

Search filters - From date - To date
Description : Indicate the date frame where the blocks have been removed.

Search filters - Options
Description : What to retrieve: All the blocks, Blocks with events, or Blocks without events.

Toolbar functions - Restore
Description : Reinsert the selected block into a specific date and time position (if available). This function is useful, for example, reinsert blocks which have been previously removed (e.g. because postponed to another date).

Toolbar functions - Delete
Description : Remove the blocks from the database permanently.

Toolbar functions - Cancel
Description : Undo the last performed operation.

Toolbar functions - Search
Description : Find a specific block in the recycle bin.

Toolbar functions - Empty
Description : Permanently removes ALL the blocks from the recycle bin.

Right-click functions - Restore
Description : Reinsert the selected block into a specific date and time position (if available). This function is useful, for example, reinsert blocks which have been previously removed (e.g. because postponed to another date).

Right-click functions - Delete
Description : Remove the block from the database definitively.

Right-click functions - Events details
Description : Opens the Executive Editor module to show all events scheduled within the block.
