Under the General 1 section it will be possible to set global parameters such as for example:
View Resources - Depending on this option, it will be displayed either, all the configured resources or only those available for the current user.
Update Schedules - If enabled, each time an ingest operation is finished, the new ingested asset duration will be automatically updated whether both on the asset form and all the broadcast schedules -from the current time onwards- on which the asset features, displaying also a warning message on the Executive Editor about the updated duration of the scheduled asset.
NB: Please note that only non-exploded performances of the ingested asset will be updated across broadcast schedules.
NB: To update automation schedules, use the Cart Ingest module, it will also update eventually exploded segments (if set in the parameters>general2).
Realign time also for the coming days - Enable to automatically realign the duration of events either ingested or deleted using Etere Ingest.
Default quality to be assigned - Set a predefined value (e.g. 0:to-be-checked, 1:insufficient, 9:excellent, etc) to be assigned to media ingested through LIVE and VTR channels .
New ingest operations - Set a maximum shifting percentage between the scheduled duration and the ingested one, leave it as '0' if you don't intend to use this function.
Ingest operations - You can also advise operators to ingest from the Caching Manual if the event they are intending to ingest an asset scheduled within the given number of hours (from the current time onwards). This parameter is valid only for Easy and Multifunction Ingest, if you don't want to use it, leave it as 0.
