87.1.5.3 Library Summary

The "Library Summary" form provides an overview of the HSM management of each library configured in the system, the information for each library includes the following operations (and related errors):

•Archives: Total number of "HSM Archive" operations performed on the selected library during the specified period.

•Restores: Total number of "HSM Restore" operations performed on the selected library during the specified period.

•Other: Total number of "Other HSM" operations (e.g. defrags, recatalogues, migrations, etc) performed on the selected library during the specified period.

•Tape movements: Total number of "Tape Movement" operations performed on the selected library during the specified period.
The operator will be allowed to interact with the "Library Summary" by using the following functions:

•Period: Select the period (e.g. all, yesterday, last week, last month, last year) from which information displayed in the "Library Summary" will be retrieved.

•Details of errors: Opens the "Etere HSM > Operations Log" form which provide a detailed report of all operations processed for the selected library.
 
NB: In case the information required for elaborating the summary results is not available in the main database but in the historical one, a warning message will inform the operator about this issue, asking for a conformation in order to proceed retrieving this information from the historical database.
