79.8.4 Manage Graphic Insertion

In Nunzio ETX Playout it's possible to play ETX graphics and HTML5 graphics, either from the rundown or with a manual take from the module itself.

First of all graphics need to be created using Etere Graphics Editor module. See chapter 66.0.0.0 Etere ETX-G Graphics MAM and its sub-chapters for information about how to create them.

RUNDOWN PLAY

Follow these steps to add the graphics to the rundown and play them along with video clips.

1. Insert them into the wanted Nunzio Stories.

2. Set the start type:
- Manual: GFX play would be performed by human interaction;
- Automatic: GFX would be played automatically, after the previous event;
- Sync: GFX would be played in SYNC with the previous event.

MANUAL TAKE

It's also possible to preset up to 4 existing graphic and play them manually from Etere Nunzio ETX Playout itself.

1. In the main screen, click on one of the preset buttons under the ETX Graphics section.

2. Through the asset search, select the desired graphic among the ones present in the system. The filter allows to search only ETX Graphics, only HTML5 Graphics or both. For a better view of the results, the option Show allows to display big, medium or small icons on each search result.

3. Preset the graphic with a double-click.

4. When the moment to play the graphic comes, just click on Take button to send it onair immediately.

In the same section, click on the [X] on the left, to unload the graphic.
To modify the preset graphic, click again on the Preset button and repeat the steps above.
To stop playing the graphic, click on Clear button.

Manual use of external Graphics Machine (NEURON) from Etere Nunzio Graphics Player

1. Set up the NEURON as graphics machine to be controlled via TCP

- select NEURON as TCP Graphics

- set the IP and the Port to communicate with the graphics machine

2. Make the Manual TCP Graphics panel visible

3. Connect to the graphics machine and send command via TCP using the Manual TCP Graphics panel

It shows the status connected/not connected and the count of commands sent to and received by the graphics machine.
