MC 21 Resource Editor - User

After indicating which user and which software the resource has to be installed for, you have to set other data:

Com Port Setting:

The machine can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC that EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port which EtereSarvaji uses.

Com Configuration:

Values of the com are fixed: 38400, E,8,1

WARNING: THIS COM PORT IS NOT CONTROLLED AT PRESENT. THEREFORE, YOU CANNOT USE THE MASTER CONTROL FROM THE AUTOMATION, BUT YOU CAN READ ITS STATUS FROM THE SECOND COM PORT.

Second Com Port Setting:

MC21 has a second com port to notify its status; if you want to manage this possibility (from MAIN), configure the com; otherwise, leave the com to 0.

As for the first com, this one as well can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC that EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port EtereSarvaji uses.

Com Configuration:

Default values are: 9600, N,8,1
