71.18.15.3 Delete Locked Asset Forms

Deleting an asset which is locked (due to either it is scheduled or its storage device is not available) is not possible for simple operators owing to security reasons (e.g.: avoiding undesired deletion of material by non-authorized users), in this terms, be logged-in as an Etere administrator is a fundamental requisite.

In order to enable locked asset forms to be deleted, just press the 'CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+S' combination keys from the Etere Ingest main window and enter the word 'ETERE' in the password field.

After then, within the Etere Delete module, you will see in the bottom of the window a message indicating that you have SUPERUSER rights, and subsequently that you are enabled to delete asset forms even if they are locked.

NB: Please note that when a locked asset form is deleted all its recurrences (i.e.: existence within schedules, video file presence, etc) in the database are also deleted.
