59.6.2.376 Panasonic - SVHS AG5700 resource editor

The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:

•Code: the path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: shows the resource type
•VTR type: PLAY (for transmission with VTR) or REC (for events' acquisition and ingest).
•Number: indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.
The user must enter the following information:
•Name: description of the resource you are editing.
•Driver: AG5700
•Model: the model indicates the image transmitted on air. Choose the corresponding model. If it is not provided, choose OTHERS.
•VTR delays (in mmsec),
StandbyOn - Time the VTR takes to be in StandbyOn
Preroll - Time the VTR takes to be in Preroll
Play - Time the VTR takes to be in Play

NOTICE: (The above values are taken into account during on-air from AUTOMATION only)

Associated Display, a DISPLAY resource previously configured, can be related to the VTR (for instance, to view the status); if this is the case, indicate the display resource to be associated; otherwise, leave the field blank.

SVHS AG5700 resource editor - User

After indicating which user and which software the resource has to be installed for, you have to set other data:

Com port setting:

The VTR can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC that EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port which EtereSarvaji uses).

Com configuration:

Baudrate- 9600
Parity- None
Databits- 8
Stopbits- 1
(NOTICE: the above data are the default ones)

Video router

Input- Indicate the router output channel the resource input is connected to (-1=not installed)
Output- Indicate the router input channel the resource output is connected to (-1=not installed)
Monitor- Indicate the router output channel the eventual monitor is connected to. (-1=not installed)

Device (out)- Indicate the no. of the device to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)
Controller (in)- Indicate the no. of the controller to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)
(Only in the special case where you have a centralized video router which allows you also to commute serial ports, set the data referred to above to 422)
