This form allows you to define the general characteristics of K2 shared media servers:

Code - The path of the resource that you are editing is displayed.
Type - Shows the type to which the resource belongs.
Number - Ordinal number that differentiates the resource from others of the same type.
RESOURCE PROPERTIES
Name - Brief description identifying the resource that must be inserted (e.g., K2 Broadcast1, K2 Ingest1).
E19 Resource ID - Optionally, insert the ID of the resource created under the Resource Editor module for this resource. This identification number is used, for example, to check the storage space usage of the resource.
RESOURCE PARAMETERS
Number of K2 in the cluster - Indicate here the number of K2 nodes which form the clustered media server.
This device is a backup of: - In case it will be used as a backup of another video server, indicate it here.
Once compiled, click the [Confirm] button to add the K2SS resource (containing so many K2 media servers as specified) to the Resources tree. After which, it will be possible to configure each cluster server as defined in the K2 resource editor chapter.
