The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:

•Code: The path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: Shows the resource type
•Number: Indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.

The user must enter the following information:
•Name: Description of the resource you are editing.
•Driver: Fixed for the machine type: UTAHMC500.
•Config: Indicate the transition speed in msec. (values available 500, 1000, 2000)
•Address: Set the machine address (default=1)
•Transaction speed: (Slow, Medium, Fast, Input time of three transaction speeds in msec.)
•Number of channels: Specify how many input channels there are; the output channel is one. This information is used to edit the channels in the main

After indicating which user and which software the resource has to be installed for, you have to set other data:

Com Port Setting:

The machine can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC which EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port that EtereSarvaji uses.

Com Configuration:
•Com. data are fixed: 4800, N,8,1

Device (out)- Indicate the no. of the device to be installed when you open the resource. (-1=not installed)
Controller (in)- Indicate the no. of the controller to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)

(Only in the special case where you have a centralized video router which allows you also to commute serial ports, set the data referred to above to 422)
