72.5.2.3 Flexi-metadata

The Flexi-metadata tab is useful for adding more info about the segment. In order to use this feature you have to enable and configure SMTPE by choosing the keys in "Etere Configuration > Settings > Flexi-metadata":

When entering flexi-metadata in Cyrillic alphabets, the flexi-metadata would appeared as “????....” characters, you can use T-workflow action “Flexi-metadata set value” to propagate the flexi-metadata in correct format.

NB: If you check/uncheck the “Show Key Description” option when entering flexi-metadata in segments, the setting would be saved when you exist from the feature.  The saved settings would be present when the feature is reactivated.  The “Show Key Description” is enabled by default when the Metadata Indexing module is initially launched.
