Advanced QC Setup

72.19.3.1 Projects tab

Under the Projects tab, you can customize the configuration parameters, events, reports and other necessary settings in order to carry out the analysis of files.
You can view projects that previously created in the system and its information associated to each projects, or create new Projects to manage the analysis of files.
The projects can be classified in different status:

Status - Running
Description : The project is current active in the system.

Status - Paused
Description : The project has been put in pause and pending next action.

Status - Ready
Description : The project is ready to be launched to carry out the analysis process.

Status - Not-ready
Description : The project is pending the reception of a valid configuration.

Status - Removed
Description : The project has been removed from system.

The following functions are available on each project:

Pause - Pause the analysis of the project.

Play/Resume - Start or resume the analysis of the project.

Edit - Edit the configuration of the project.

Delete - Remove the project from the list.

Create a new Project

When creating a new Project as analysis template, go through the various tabs and provide information associated to the new project.

Tab - Input
Information required : In this tab, give a name to the new project and specify the source folder for the new analysis template.

Tab - Project Details
Information required : This section define the usage of the new analysis template:
•Description: Give a short description to the template (optional field)
•File Analysis priority: Set the analysis priority for the project (High, Normal, Low)
•Analysis Speed: Configure the speed of analysis for the new project.  It would determine the CPU percentage used during the analysis of this project (Full, Medium, Slow).
•Concurrent Analysis: Specify the maximum number of files that can be simultaneously analyse during the execution of the project.
•Nodes: Specify here to share the analysis workload among various nodes.
•Users: Authorise users to work on the project.

Tab - Output Folders
Information required : Configure the output folders to move or copy the output files depending on the outcome of the analysis.  You can select folders in local machine where Advanced QC is installed or select folders in the network drives.

Tab - Analysis
Information required : In this section, configure the parameters that would be analysed and establish the thresholds to determine the events reported.  The number of parameters defined here would determine the analysis speed, with fewer parameters, greater the analysis speed.
In Advanced QC, there are 3 level of severity for events:
oLogging
oWarning
oCritical
You can set severity for each type of event and set the thresholds for the selected analysis parameters.
In this section, you can modify the analysis template previously created in the machine.

Tab - Analysis Parameters
Information required : By default, all available parameters would be analyzed, you can select the parameters group where the analysis process would be performed.

Tab - Analysis General Settings
Information required : In this section, enable the general settings for analysis process:
•Specify the number of lines to be omitted.
•Select the audio integration time (defaulted to 40ms)
•Select the frame intervals on which the analysis would be performed (all frames, solely keyframes, or every N frames)

Tab - Audio Grouping
Information required : This section allows you to specify the manner in which audio channels are grouped.  Up to maximum of 16 audio channels can be grouped into different audio streams.

Tab - Reporting
Information required : You can customize the analysis results reporting in this section.  Options includes:
•Minimum severity of the events shown in the report.
•Include/exclude waveforms and thumbnails in the report.
•The maximum number of events to be included in the report.  The maximum events is 200, it is possible to include more events if the thumbnails are not shown in the report.
•Frequency of the report generation.
•Dispatch the reports via email.
