Action Description
This template allows you to create an action for deleting an asset archived into an HSM device (Hierarchical Storage Management).
Note: If a media pool has been previously set by a "set hsm archiving media pool" action, the deletion will be performed against it. If not specified, all media pools will be considered.
Action Parameters
To create it, complete the following data:
•Name: Enter a descriptive title for the action,
•Select Codec: Specify the desired codecs to be deleted (only files with this codec will be deleted from the HSM device).
How to use it
This action can be used (in the T-Workflow designer) to, for example, clean any old archived copies of media content from the system before archiving it.
