Log packets sent by the "Save Logs" application includes the following files:
File - [Log-name].txt
Description : The module log containing information on the execution process. Log files are usually named as follows:
[ModuleName].[ExecutableName].[Station].[PcName].[Type].log
for instance:
Spare.EtSpare.001.michaelw7.main.log
File - EventView.xml
Description : This file contains all information provided by the Windows Event Viewer at the time of the incident.
File - EvWrDump.xsl
Description : This file allows viewing the "EventView.xml" file as a web page, this, for an easier consultation.
File - Param.ini
Description : Copy of the "param.ini" file stored in the EtereAU folder, which contains all parameters related to the modules enabled in the current station (e.g. channel 01).
File - SysInfo.txt
Description : File containing technical information (i.e. motherboard, memory, disks, network adapter, bios, operating system, etc.) of the current Etere Pc. Please refer to the SysInfo chapter for a detailed example.
File - WhatsTheMatter.txt
Description : File containing general information (e.g. date, time, operator, problem, attachment, system information, modules versions, etc.) both, automatically retrieved from the Etere Pc and manually set by the operator.
From Etere version “EtereInstall_31.2.401.4525.zip” onwards, the installed Etere version would be included in the report, e.g. “Version: Etere 31.2.401.4525”. The installed version is retrieved from Windows Registry key value “DisplayVersion” in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall \ {B8221D21-BD6D-11D5-9B53-00A0D2048858}].
