202.6.4.7 Assign EPG

Use it to associate specific EPG data to one or more scheduling blocks, and export schedule's EPG Data either to a report or share it with other departments.
In order to assign EPG schema to one or more scheduled blocks, follow the procedure described below :  

1.Select the block(s) to which you intend to assign the data, press the Ctrl key or right-click on a certain day and select the option 'select all content for the day'.

2.Right-click on the selected blocks and click on the EPG Data option or click on the Assign EPG Data to select blocks located under the 'Tools  > EPG' menu,  

3.A list containing all the available EPG schemas displayed, select the schema and click 'OK'. If only one EPG schema is found it would be automatically opened.

4.In the next window you can modify all the available fields according to the events contained in the block (i.e. if it contains music, movies, etc):  

5.Once the task is done, save your EPG data and close the window, the EPG data has been successfully assigned to the selected blocks .

Display EPG Info
Each time you assign an EPG schema to a block, all fields with "view value" property enabled would be displayed within the block. If you want to know which blocks have an EPG schema, activate the Display EPG Data Association item under the "Tools > EPG menu" or simply press the "F12" function key, a small etiquette on all the blocks which have an EPG Data assigned would displayed, this etiquette would remain displayed until the schedule is refreshed (e.g. by pressing the "F5" function key).
Furthermore, by navigating to "Tools > EPG > EPG" and click on the EPG Data Report option, you can preview (and print as well) all the blocks contained within a certain period of time, and the EPG Data associated to it.
 
Removing EPG from Blocks
To remove EPG Data of a single scheduled block, right-click on the block and select the 'EPG Data' option, a window containing EPG Data would opened, click on the 'Delete' (X) button to remove its EPG Data.
If you want to remove the EPG Data of various blocks at the same time, you could press Ctrl key and select the block(s) you want to remove and go the menu 'Tools > EPG' and select the option Remove EPG Data from selected blocks to remove the EPG from blocks.
